In a world where sustainability has become a priority, agap2 stands out for its resolute commitment to a low-carbon strategy. This company has taken significant steps to reduce its carbon footprint and promote a more sustainable future.

A bold energy transition

agap2 has undertaken a bold energy transition by conducting its carbon footprint assessment and setting ambitious intermediate goals for 2030. The company aims to reduce carbon intensity per employee by 30% and to reach 1.4 TCO2e per employee, as well as to decrease economic carbon intensity by 25%.

Concrete actions for a real impact

To achieve these goals, agap2 has implemented a series of concrete actions. This includes recycling 100% of its office waste in partnership with ELISE, a specialized company that employs people with disabilities or those facing integration difficulties. Additionally, agap2 has initiated a transition to a more environmentally friendly vehicle fleet, with the introduction of plug-in hybrid vehicles and the installation of electric charging stations in its offices in Paris and Lyon.

Regarding mobility, agap2 has already implemented a number of actions:

  • 100% reimbursement of public transport subscriptions
  • Implementation of the Sustainable Mobility package

    • Reimbursement for trips made by bike, scooter, and carpooling up to €80 per month
  • Partnership with the carpooling platform Klaxit
  • Restriction on the use of airplanes in the travel policy

    • Creation of a clause limiting the use of airplanes for trips of less than 4 hours by train
  • Implementation of a telework agreement of 1 to 3 days

And other actions are underway regarding consumption, responsible purchasing, and digital matters:

  • Deployment of a responsible purchasing policy

    • Implementation of an annual CSR questionnaire for suppliers
    • Drafting a code of conduct for suppliers 
    • Training internal buyers in responsible purchasing
  • Extending the lifecycle of IT equipment
  • Prohibition of beef at professional events

Awareness and CSR culture: employees at the heart of the approach

Raising employee awareness plays a key role in agap2's low-carbon strategy. The company regularly invites its employees to participate in the Climate Fresk workshop, a collaborative workshop that helps understand climate issues and take ownership of the ecological transition. So far, 10% of employees have been made aware, and several have become facilitators of the Fresk.
